The worst part is, a few very simple changes would work wonders, you would think.

Like actually playing players in their position. Look at our squad over the last couple of games, he couldnt play more players out of position if he tried! Richardson at left back, Larsson left midefield, Sess up front, Elmo at right back, Colback at left back.

Oh yes and actually giving the new strikers a chance. I cannot believe why Wickham and Ji arent starters, if theres one game to "bed in" new signings, who may be intimidated moving into the team from a lower division/another country, its this game!

well he made it to half time 0-0 and it sounds from sky sports that we have played quality, just have no one to put the ball in the net !
surely he must stick at least one striker straight on now???

come on brucie lad you know it makes sense :)

    Hows it silly?

No recognised striker! Tactical inept manager! Team that doesn’t score enough goals!

Syd, if we played this exact team in every PL game, we would have every chance of going down. Thankfully, we can field a far better team than this. So that's the point, why put out a completely pointless team, a team we learn nothing from, out in relatively low pressure game when we still have pretty much no idea what our strongest team is? Surely this is a chance to start with Gyan and Wickham up front, get Gardner on etc? If we won this game 3-0, it would still tell us absolutely nothing. It's a really baffling game plan and it's annoyed the **** out of me.

So first half of the mags against once again, mate? We need two strikers on, IMO.

That is shocking. Boo the manager if you MUST boo somebody. There was barely a single Sunderland fan that rated Elmo, was there? Yet Bruce decided to splash a not inconsiderable 2 million on him. It's not Elmo's fault, he seem like a cracking lad and i'm sure he's giving his best. Blame Bruce.
