No you don't understand its not me its Bruce saying; Shut the **** up you whining bitches and get behind the club.
Steve Bruce clearly said that Assem Allam should be able to do what he wishes given the amount of money he has committed to the club. No amount of you pretending any other will change that fact and you look stupid for saying any other. The truth is Steve Bruce should stay well clear of the argument until a time when matters affect the players. Until then he is on a hiding to nothing getting involved.
He probably can't avoid it strov the press will ask him. The one thing I've learnt about Brucey he speaks his mind. He isn't towing the party line he's too honest
Bruce comes across as a genuine guy and won't hide behind false pretense to save face. He's staying out of it so far, and quite rightly so. Until the time comes that he needs to speak out against it (because he surely isn't for it), he will continue to evade the questions and palm it away. He's basically saying that Assem Allam does deserve to do what he wants considering the fact that we probably wouldn't be a Football Club anymore if it wasn't for him, but subliminally, he's also saying he should have consulted the fans before hand to save the stress. I'm pretty sure Brucey's wishing that it wasn't happening because he needs everything focused on keeping Hull a Premier League team.
Are we playing an all new caption competition. Guess the hidden meaning behind the statement. If you look closely enough you may see a tell. Perhaps a wink, or his right eyebrow slightly raises when he tells a bluff.
Come on Chazz you are a reasonable poster, you honestly think that interview is him stating he is behind it? Really? I sure don't think he would be behind his club changing their name, and i am sure he doesn't want it in England. He is a smart man, and very diplomatic as you can see.
I read somewhere tonight, SB saying of the good 'Dr' - "He's adamant. And when he's adamant, there's no shifting him" (or words to that effect). That translates quite freely as "He's totally pig-headed".
Is Bruce really going to speak out against his employer? What did everyone expect him to say? I'm not sure we can take this as a Bruce 100% behind Allam's decisions. I'm not saying he's against the decision to change the name, the same as one cannot reliably say he's in favour.
Wasn't a good idea when Nick Barmby tried it! To be fair, in the knowledge of what happened to Nick, and the reasons why, can anything that a Hull City manager says relating to this issue have any credibility at all?
Agree with SB if he is saying that. Anyone who puts that amount of money in should be able to call City what he likes!
It's actually 'toeing' Chazster, and I'm gonna credit TOP from CI with that one, as he corrected me on it about 6 months ago. It's educational on football MB's eh
there we have to disagree. he's one of a line of owners. he can borrow the library book, but he can't tear pages out.
