When managers or footballers **** up and play ****e, its always the fans fault. Has anyone else noticed that?

Bruce has enjoyed the very best support despite an appalling home record which is as bad as the 15 point team. What more can we do but keep supporting our club. Maybe if we were like other clubs fans and kicked up a fuss when it is ****e on the pitch something would be done.

Do you think Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool fans would put up with a home form as ****e as ours and not let the whole world know about it? Maybe its time to give it to Bruce with both barrels and shake the fat geordie twat up a bit. He has a cushy little number under Quinny and is under absolutely no pressure. Thats shows as he doenst give a flying **** about derby defeats at all. They are just another game to him where he has made sure his boyhood club has not had to worry one little bit either.

Our fans don't cost us the game yesterday. The c**t in charge of the team did by a bizarre team selection, ****e home tactics of 1 up front, dithering about like a fanny when it all went tits up and by not making sure we we had the right personnel up front during the summer recruitment.

Bruce cost us last October and also in the return game in January. He certainly was the blame yesterday and if we are unlucky enough to have to suffer the ****er any longer, he will make sure his darling b&w's dont lose in March as well.

Wake up and stop making excuses for the bloke. He quite obvioulsy couldn't give a **** about us, as evidenced in the derby games, so why do some of us here care about him.

Just get rid of the bugger ASAP and maybe we can get excited about the season again.

    It's very simple cest.
    16th, 13th, 10th.....
You see I couldn't give a flying **** how it's done. I just want to see improvement. Not over one or two games but sustained over a full season.
    16th, 13th, 10th.....
If Bruce keeps ****ing up this year like he did last we could stumble our way to seventh. Imagine the calls for the Geordie twats head then.

If Bruce is still in charge for the March Derby I hate to think what it will do to his health before, during and after.

At the time when the fixtures were released I had a bad feeling about the Derby being too early for the reasons that we have witnessed over the last 24 hours and future ramifications for the rest of the season.

The better team won yesterday, without a shadow of a doubt. Like it or lump it that is down to SB; this is his team and they were playing according to his Plan. Whatever that might have been.

    BRUCE OUT

SB must make sure we win our next two games, against the mighty Brighton and Swansea,or he's a gonner!!These are two games we should win,and I dread to think what will happen if we lose them.Earn your corn,Brucie..win both games and sort out the left-side of our team before the transfer-window shuts!!

i cant agree with this we are into our second game and already you are back on the managers case again.
Cest your season must run over 2 games the mags home and away.. the game was lost on 1 lucky poxy free kick for **** sake get some balls and get behind your team.
Bruce has got his own team this season now lets give him a chance with it like at least 2 seasons

I just cannot believe what I am reading, some of you are obsessed with 2 games a year. He is the best manager we have had since Reid. Who else do you think would come here? MON no chance, and he us worse than Bruce for being Stubborn. We have made some good signings, we have balanced the books and there are 2 weeks left in the window. We played well against Liverpool and got a point when most expected nothing. We outplayed the mags in the first half. We had one 1/2 of bad football and it's Bruce out again, it's a complete joke. I support the team the manager and everyting about SAFC. I will let SNQ decide the fait of our manager because he knows more about football the SAFC than I do.

ffs g Force, is it an opinion your after or do you need a signed affidavit from MON.

I do not understand the fascination with MON, if its because you think he supports us the I know for a fact he does not support Sunderland - he told me so himself at a Celtic fans forum I attended - he followed Charlie Hurley. When he left us for Bolton MON switched his allegiance.

MON is not the man for us imo.

one chance asamoah "Catteemole was our best player by a mile shutting everything down.

Gyan is a loan striker for Ghana and its how he likes playing"

asa might play that role for ghana but he doesnt have bruce as his international manager and the premier league is a hard league to play in especially when your as weak as asamoah and have a team that play high balls into him too.

i wanted bruce out when he had another 3 month barren spell and especially when he spent the majority of his budget on a 18 year old kid who isnt and probably wont be ready for the premier league until next season at the earliest when we needed a striker to replace bent and support gyan. i dont think we will beat brighton in the cup and will only get a point at swansea and then we have chelsea at home which is worrying.

I don’t like assumptions or sweeping statements as they tend to lead to inaccuracy.

Assumption like you have FOOLISHLY made about my fascination about MON which I dont have. In addition I never mentioned that he supported Sunderland again a FOOLISH assumption.

    **** it!
I get pissed off at being called part of a brigade because I don't think ( and never have ) Bruce is a good manager.
I never wanted him in the first place (so one of you pro Bruce lot can twist that as if I have an agenda) he was a mediocre manager before arriving here and fans of his ex clubs actually told us that too.
A mate from Birmingham reminded me before the season started that he had said to me about Bruces decision making being strange.
None of my feelings toward Bruce are Geordie based and I also don't agree with Cest that Bruce's roots are the cause of our defeats, it's much simpler he is a **** manager.
Too many times I have felt I have had to bite my tongue here and other forums for having the audacity to question him and his decisions.
He is still a mediocre manager with very little tactical nous if any!
We have all supported him whilst he is our manager.
I have seen absolutely nothing from him to keep giving that support unconditionally.
The odd good buy shouldn't warrant a stay of execution when he doesn't know how to get the best out of the players he buys.
Someone posted the other day about how Bruce sees something working in one match and sticks with it even though it clearly wouldn't suit the next match. (My apologies can't remember the posters name.)
And I called him a mind reader as that's exactly what I thought.
The old top ten finish has raised it's head again, we were lucky to finish there as it was results elsewhere that got us that finish. (Wahay we beat the worst team in the league.)
If there had been a couple of more matches we could have been right in the clarts.
When I said my son wasn't renewing his season ticket people were having a go at me and him! (Even though I also said he would still be going through the turnstiles.) This was because of the dire performances he was watching at the stadium.
He came back from the match yesterday and his only words were "I don't want to talk about it Dad!"
A 17 year old lad getting disillusioned because of terrible home performances.
I have watched the lads for 50 years through thick and thin, and have never been so adamant that our problems on the pitch all stem from the manager.

You want to call me part of a brigade fine, I shall wear BRIGADE with honour. <ok>

Thank christ it wasn't me who used that word "Brigade" again!!!!!! Only joking MackemsRule lad looks like it's here we go again! The next ten days will be the most important days of this club and indeed that of our current managers career.

Last season I saw Sunderland murder Chelsea in the best SAFC performance in my 51 year lifetime. I also witnessed The lads finish in the TOP HALF of the TOP DIVISION for only the 3rd time in my lifetime. I'm now supporting a team with more TOP QUALITY players than ever before in my lifetime. And I'm also FULLY BEHIND a manager who has assembled that team, whilst also turning a PROFIT due to HIS brilliant dealings in the transfer market.

Some people have short memories and really need to get real....Jeff Whitley, Gareth Hall, anyone?

Of course not. He's a very successful, level headed business man.
I'm sure he can see we are going the rite way.

I think the next 3 games are going to give the Bruce out brigade all all the fire they need. We couldn't have got a worse draw imo. Brighton are a club rolling the crest of a wave, promotion, new stadium and 3 wins and a draw from their opening 4 games. They'll relish us going there and I can see them putting a few past us and dumping us out the cup. Then onto Swansea, they got a decent draw against wigan yesterday so have got their nervy first game under their belts and have a point on the board and their feet under the table. I think they'll win a fair share of home games this year, starting with us. Chelsea at home after 3 straight defeats? The boo boys could be out in force
