Siam, don't know where you got those 2 quotes from but I can guess... and now they're claiming victory london, massive respect to you mate. You had your view and fought your corner without resorting to the above bollox It wouldn't surprise me if it was stuff like that as opposed to the tradition and history argument that persuaded VT/TG to pull the plug
H-bomb thankyou..if you look at one of my past posts i state in it that i would continue to support the bluebirds if the proposal were to go ahead even though i didn't agree it was right....i just felt we had to make it known that we want to keep the the club traditions and see if theres any other way of making this investment work and thats all i wanted to do with other sensible like minded supporters but it seems some idiots have to try and spoil things completely...i'm passionate about my club and i only have good intentions for ccfc.
london, I'm sure I read it but I'm having a bit of info overload at the moment and its all blending into one
I have just got back from taking my boys to footie and Kickboxing and things seem to have gone a little mad. What the hell has happened how can they have changed their minds so fast I mean after all surely the thing to do now would be to try and meet fans discuss the actual plans and then see what the reaction is? I mean I was one off those that voiced my concerns and whilst I still have them I would have been happy if a compromise could have been found or even if time was taken to explain exactly how things stand. The racism issue is a disgrace after all whilst we have our traditions that people wanted to fight for these guys have theirs and by the seem they just wanted to tap into both. I really do hope this is not the end off TG and VT and I am sure that a compromise could still be found that would suit most. Plus if they look at the M boards whilst allot are opposed there are far more for and loads indecisive. It would be silly to react too hastily. This comes from someone who is not all for the idea.
ain't you glad that someone had the sense to spill the beans on this asian lot ??? whats with all the secrecy anyway surely the fans has the right to know what they are up to behind closed doors in malaysia, there are premiership Malaysian owners already and they dont want to change their clubs to the point of getting rid of the clubs identity, you can only be successful on the pitch and that takes investment in players and not about how marketing should be in malaysia. im sure nobody cares how many shirts are sold over there and why should you, it here in cardiff that matters and how you can improve on the field....what are they going to propose next...moving the club in its entirety to somewhere else......whoever leaked their plans must have thought it necessary to do so and thank god he did. the majority by a huge margin has spoken about the underhanded way these people are doing things behind the fans back....it stinks to high heaven....
Yawn you are so ****ing boring, the kind of person that just will not shut up and has to have the last word no matter how foolish the argument has become. Your really quite sad and pathetic. Now **** OFF
'what are they going to propose next...moving the club in its entirety to somewhere else' <facepalm> ok dai, take your point about success being more important than colours to being marketable in foreign countries, but you're jumping to conclusions. 'surely the fans has the right to know what they are up to behind closed doors in malaysia' thats why they conduct meetings with the fans, the one which disclosed the rebranding was a meeting, and there will be more in the future with the chairman representing the malaysians presumably. null point.
the meeting was because they had their plans leaked. they would not have told you until it was too late otherwise...dont you smell a rat or are you choosing to ignore the goings on...your lucky you have enough proper fans who care about club tradition or you could find yourselves guests at your once owned club. they are looking to move everything to be controlled in malaysia with a different identity that only the malaysians will have any identity with, all that you will have is a football team for malaysian people playing in the uk....how much longer down the line before they change the name from cardiff city to one of their own and re name the stadium.....you or i dont know their intentions but what we do know they want to ditch the bluebird and blue shirt as a starter....it smells so fishy that the fans who are against these people are right to voice their concerns, you notice that no assurances were given about their plans......you would end up with a team that is not yours as you will have lost all your identity of the club that will be in the hands of the malaysian people as their team and not yours.....why dont they sit down and negotiate instead of threatening to walk away.......is it because they have been found out and scuppered their plans....these questions has to be asked and if they have nothing to hide then say what other long term intentions are......alarm bell rang when they are adement of getting rid of the bluebird logo, the shirt colour is neither here nor there..
paul corkrey ‏ @corkyfsfcymru @SteveCMB Hi Steve many of the lads up here are tamping as you can imagine, stay strong and try to sort this mess out for us mate. @corkyfsfcymru hi Corky cheers to the lads for the support. Tried to keep things calm and engage .but things are now turning @SteveCMB If they do walk away, how likely would you say administration is? @BMurphy1981 if they did we have no options because no notice @sportstonigh@mikeparry8: huge concerns yes abuse and vitriol no. supporters club official posting Malaysians go home disgrace they were told there would be a reaction but did not expect the vitriol or abuse. Just to add that apparently it was things on Facebook that upset the owners. TG has said that VT "was disturbed" by the hatred, threats, and racist comments he was shown on facebook which were seen by members of his family. His initial reaction was to have nothing to do with the club at all. Today there are apologies being given by many who were abusive and on message boards everywhere. VT is being kept abreast of public opinion and the club is forwarding letters to him that come in from supporters. The drama
This is my last attempt Dai. Read an account from somebody closely involved, not in the club but part of the supporters set-up. If you just ignore this information, I seriously give up: On Tuesday the topic of rebranding Cardiff City was discussed in a hastily arranged meeting because of somebody leaking the story via the internet, the club had certain time frames and meetings planned with the fan’s representatives but this was taken away from the club to fully present the idea behind the re-branding. Of course we all accept whether or not the story was leaked the rebranding was going an emotive issue to each and every fan. But the club has not been afforded their right to properly show the whole package and reasons, so we can understand, what the package means for our club. The Malaysians were surprised at the level of reaction from some of the fans, even though they expected some form of backlash, some of the abuse I have heard tonight that he has received has been totally unjust and downright sickening. From burning of Malaysian flags and personal threats are beyond the pale and this must not continue, I urge every fan to consider what they write on social networks and message boards and just think what this man has done for our club so far, his intention was never to upset us but he genuinely believes he can make this club the real deal. I would suggest that any demonstrations and fan’s meeting are left well alone, the abuse and anti-Malaysian posting on Facebook, Twitter and message boards stop. Langston are so close to being settled, the stadium expansion plans are with the architects right now, club officials have been all over the Premier League club’s training facilities taking all the best bits so we can incorporate their best into ours, Malky Mackay and Alan Whiteley have been discussing the players Malky has identified he wants most of the day. Can we recover from this, I believe we can, but that will only happen if City fans believe in what the Malaysians say they are going to do for this football club.
Nothing but sense in that post. I hope you re right. But if a number of people had racially abused me, abused and threatened my family and finished it off by slagging and disrespecting my country I'm not sure you bring me back tbh.
Well if they know who these people are and if this abuse is coming from a different forum, then the mods should report them to the police and get them prosecuted. These people are mindless idiots of very low intelligence, they are not real supporters of the club and they themselves have proven this. I really had thought we had seen the back of these Thugs who taint the image of the Club that we all love and support. If they are season ticket holders return thier money and ban them.
@Like to thank everyone who has sent me emails to pass onto TanSri and Tg. All have been forwarded @SteveCMB well done Steve and good luck. Hope they get the message that the numpties who purport to speak for fans are not representative @Caeryglyn cheers Phil the silent majority has now come forward to be heard.
