if it was justified fine, but i am not sure what the fuss is all about, certainly not number 1 any way, good player in the making, but he hasn't done more than Sterling or Deulofeo.

  3. Hurt wouldn't be the right word. Since it doesn't really matter how they are rated because its how they perform on the pitch, the order the tabloid as listed them in is pretty much irrelevant. However, I do find it amusing that they claim japseye is at the top. If it had been two or three months ago I might have agreed but he's gone backwards since then and Sterling has become instrumental in the current league leaders form :)

Glad they didn't pick Sterling no. 1 - the same paper picked a 17 year old Macheda - that went well <ok>

At a guess its probably because they got stung by Oxo and Walcott. 2 players who like sterling have one attribute. Pace.

    Ashley Young also has pace....

    Lennon has pace.

januzaj has technical ability so in 5 years he wont be another Lennon, Walcott or other. Sterling will <ok>

Januzaj good player IMHO, top youngster in Europe, I don't think so.. but under the right guidance he could be something special, a bit like Sterling, quality player right now got the potential to be a worldie.
Don't see enough european football to say who's the best and how "young" is young?
But I quite like Koke of Athletico, Verrati of PSG, to name a couple..

So in many more games hes got a few more goals despite having played an entire season more than Adnan?

    But hes done loads?

Combine his 2 seasons and hes got slightly better stats that januzajs sole season....

    Maybe thats why?

januzaj will do OK against the **** teams and **** all against a decent side.

They played each other at OT a few weeks ago, Sterling made januzaj look like conference stock<ok>

  17. The only stats I use are my eyes. If you think Sterling is just pace with a few goals then you've not seen him play at all in the last three months.

He is calm on the ball, tricky, strong, good use of his body, good energy, great work rate, can tackle, can play various positions (including RB!) and isn't afraid to shout at the more senior players either. His end product still needs to be better.

Oh, and three months ago I had a similar opinion to you; all pace with not much else to offer.
