I'd say he's indirectly just put Simpson further down the pecking order. I'm sure the plan is to play him wide left, elmo wide right, Evans/McKenna and Koren central and prostitute and Aluku up top.

 

I laugh everytime I watch that

 

but bruce has shown so far he wants to play a 5-3-2 formation with wingbacks - dudgeon & elmo/rosie... quinn's best position is central midfield, he'll be playing with koren, evans or mckenna.... it wont effect simpson at all

 

I think he was more saying it impacts on the chances of Aluko dropping into midfield, which then impacts on Simpson.

 

I hear that he likes to come within though.

 

Is that because he doesn't like playing in a withdrawn role?

I know nothing about this lad, but I think he sounds like he might fit the bill.
