Ok, maybe ive wished things would happen to Alex Ferguson, maybe Darren Fletcher & Scott Brown......but theyre ****s
The court upheld a conviction against Knox for slander, after she had falsely accused barman Patrick Lumumba of the murders. It sentenced her to three years in prison, a sentence which she has now already served. Not completely "innocent" though really?
So why are you having a go at me for saying I hope they get what they deserve in jail? You obviously hold a different view or are you just rattling your gums for the sake of it? Let me guess, you don't really have a view so you are attempting to provoke a debate/argument about nothing in particular.
I'm not having a go, I was merely making an observation that in the past (Knox and Lennon SBoP cases), you had studied the evidence at length and drawn your own conclusions, even if it were at odds with what the Courts decided. Yes No, I have view about the case, but Libel laws prevent me from divulging further.
I gave my opinions on those (totally unrelated) cases and nothing has changed my mind. Happy? Are you trying to suggest that I should mistrust a verdict given in an English court just because I disagreed with verdicts in Italian and Scottish courts? Is that somehow hypocritical of me or am I correct in thinking (as these are entirely different cases) that my opinion should be based on the facts available? To clarify, I believe Amanda Knox is guilty and so was the arse who assaulted Neil Lennon despite them being cleared, unless you are suggesting that courts are ALWAYS right? ps Would it surprise you to know that the Judge who cleared Knox on appeal also thinks she is guilty?
Any opportunity for reductions in the sentence or will they do the lot? Why am I asking you? I have the world at my finger tips! Back in a bit...
Harsher sentences than i thought they would be, based on what exactly it was they have been found guilty of. Not that i am particularly bothered.
