He said the decision "felt right" and that he had "made the decision 3 months ago". He told the BBC that it was a combination of the hectic schedule, him not playing the snooker he wants to play and the fact he is no longer enjoying practice. Hendry is a 7 time world champion who was ranked #1 in the world from 1990-1998 and again in 2006/7. He has 775 century breaks to his name and 11 maximum breaks.
An amazing player with a amazing thirst for winning, that is what i will remember about Stephen Hendry's playing career. Without doubt one of THE all time greats to have ever played the game of snooker and he has left a legacy that a lot of the now modern day players are trying to emulate. If the 7 world titles arnt enough to be remembered by the fact that he his century breaks set him alone from anybody else proves that he was the greatest break builder that has ever been, 775 in total... Just simply a true great of the green baize...
Quite simply the GREATEST player of all time, while his personality left a little bit to be desired his winning mentality could only be matched by Steve Davis. His record of major titles will never be beaten, and his century breaks total will only possibly be bettered by O'Sullivan.Never really liked him as a person but as a player he was unequalled,he will be missed!
Is he from North Queensferry or South Queensferry? Is he from North Queensferry or South Queensferry? Is he from North Queensferry or South Queensferry? Is he from North Queensferry or South Queensferry?* *That is the Forth time I asked that question.
