I give up. Called a liar, shat on because I closed a thread, just can't win. Norway, out of curiosity, are you a liar? You said you saved his comments when you blatantly didnt as other posters have said the word pricked was used.
Had he played 5 full games and given nothing, I would agree, but he hasn't. Dai.....This is a topic on STEPHEN DOBBIE!!!! I'm on about all our strikers getting a chance but cant because of Brendan's stubbornness with his favorite buy.... you say you would give dobbie a run of five games and should he draw a blank blah blah blah well what about danny boy then you would play him and he has had 6......5.......9 blank games
Ash - i didnt call anyone a prick but so what anyway are we men or ****in mice ?? !! i read alot and laugh but its like sunday school on here sometimes honestly
I'm combining this with the other thread; Would anyone object to it being moved off the Swans forum seeing as looking back I can't remember the last time I read anything about football being discussed. General Chat is probably more apt?
you know im right ash but you cant bring yourself to admit it....if 5 games is bad then what would you call 9..
Carry on Scott. P.s. can you pm me how you do it? Would have done it myself but havnt worked out how.
I thought about it, but what's the point? I couldn't care less about personal feuds but it seems some people cannot get past certain things. Not everyone likes everyone else, you know? There's plenty of people on here I don't like, but I don't say anything because if everyone did that all the time, you'd be sifting through mounds of **** just to get to something about football. The same people keep having the same arguments regardless of how many times people ask for them to do it in private. It doesn't matter which thread it is, it'll always come back, and to be honest it's not very nice having your character attacked for simply trying to ensure people can discuss football without having someone have a go at them. Might as well leave this as it is, because if it's closed/deleted no doubt there'll be another thread put up straight away as clearly it'll have been the greatest travesty in the history of free speech.
Look at the history if you're really bored. You can see who the culprit was. Amazing what some people will do in order to pass the time at work. Anyway, if it's possible to get back to the thread ..... For those who think Dobbie is too fat and slow, look at the vid from 2.00 mins 3.20 is pretty cool too. http://bit.ly/Jjo1dw Oh and this from the weekend. Play the vid - he scores the first from 25 yards. http://bbc.in/IsPGXX Yes it's an 'inferior' division but seriously, do we have anyone else like this that will definitely be playing for us next season?
I havent read all the pages on this subject but for me its simple. Graham can cut it in the Premier League hence Rodgers, who believe it or not is paid for these decisions, starts him and plays him in almost every game. Dobbie cant cut it and that is why Rodgers has farmed him out to Blackpool....in the Championship!!
Your assuming it's Graham OR Dobbie. That was mistake number 1. I agree that Graham has done well for us and should start. I don't think we'll land Siggy and one of the big plusses for me if Rodgers goes (I hope he doesn't!) is that Dobbie at least will be given a fair crack in that role. He hasn't to date. Mistake number 2 is assuming he can't cut it in the Prem when he's had, what 250 minutes of game time? Come on. I ask again. Look at the videos. Who have we got that will definitely be with us next season that can do that on a regular basis? Graham? No. He's a box poacher not a long range specialist. Sinclair? No. Not consistent enough. Dyer? No. Ditto. Need I go on? As much as I like Agustien he's more of a holding player with an eye for a through ball, not a goal scorer. Unless we spend big money on someone to fill Siggy's role we are going to be found wanting next season. Big time. Whereas we have someone with a fantastic eye for goal that yet again has been farmed out. Wouldn't blame him if he said sod you and put in a transfer request. The gist of my point is that we don't know if he's good enough. But to come to the conclusion he's not based on so little game time is just wrong imo.
I'd say he's saying he can't cut it in the Premiership because the manager who got and kept us there reckons he can't cut it in the Premiership, and I'd go with that. Happy to be proven wrong, but haven't got the tiniest problem with how Buck has treated Dobbie this year. He can probably feel hard done by but that's life and it's not as if he's got a bad one (personal circumstances unknown).
