But lita and Moore have scored in the premier league with limited game time as well. We got to face reality here he will never play for our club again, the million is a fair price to pay for him. I wish the guy all the best though

 

I rate him way above those two musty! If they were so good why didn't Rodgers use them in the Wembley game? No he new Dobbie was a greater goal threat, but once we were up, he was thrown crumbs by Rodgers all season, but all water under the bridge now, hope we move Lita and Moore on though, not that we'll get much for those two, wonder if Rodgers will want them at Liverpool!..................

 

Probably because lita signed after the game, it's pretty hard to play for the club when he wasn't even signed to us

Splitting hairs ? Come on you said Lita wasn't chosen for Wembley because he was not good enough, but he wasn't even our player then Both Moore and Lita have limited time in the premier league and scored goals, Dobbie had the same opportunities but failed to do so.

 

No way has Dobbie been given the same game time as Moore, matter of fact Rodgers hardly had him on the bench........

 

And the reason why ? Probably because they were a better choice than dobbie. I don't particularly rate either of them but the way our team were playing formation wise and energy wise means that dobbie didn't fit in. He is a luxury player who has very little energy in going forward and plays one specific role. I am not calling him lazy it's just his level is the championship

I disagree he realised that dobbie couldn't do a job in the premier league. I like the guy but there is no sentiment in football and staying up is more important than a player's feelings. Are you suggesting by him playing we would have landed up higher than we did ?

Dobbie may get a new lease of life under ML. Every player starts from square 1 and wil have to demonstrate their value and where they fit into the grand scheme. If he's smart he'll listen and watch (I gather ML likes to demo his methods) and parrott what he hears and sees. He may not have all the tools, but if he gets "it" before the others he can get himself a step up.
