They should also introduce a new rule stating that the drive being "let through" in this situation will always benefit from any nearby DRZ zone and never the car being overtaken.
Agreed 100% when he opened RBR p2 and they said. Behind Ocon , it was as if they ( the fia / Masi ) had forgotten about him !
He tried to give the position back and then did give it back a further 2 times. Also gave the position back on the restart.
It's almost like Masi thinks the battle is so critical he want's to control the stewards decision! No matter how close the battle is the same procedures should be followed. Masi seeming to interfere makes a mockery of the stewards process and their supposedly non biased judgements (not biased in the way they change stewards so they shouldn't always be biased to a particular team and driver).
All tracks should be made have a diversion that cost 2 seconds a lap that these guys have to go down through to avoid all shenanigans. Lol.
Next race will be nasty as Max has nothing to lose by taking Lewis out. While good hard racing is great to watch they all have to play by the rules. Max is going too far and no one is slapping his wrists hard enough to make him change. He will kill someone before long!
On the "brake test", I'm inclined to call it a misunderstanding until proven otherwise. The rest of the defending was Max at his worst. Making moves off the track, rejoining unsafely, dive bombs where he has no hope of making the corner. A shame to see.
Feel like I raced myself, I'm exhausted. Really not sure if I love this track or hate it, hopefully in the last race we can just see wheel to wheel racing with no Masi involvement? Strange, strange race.
What surprises me is that he could have just lifted but instead he goes down from 7th gear to 3rd!!!! No idea why? maybe a single gear downshift to get after Lewis when he goes past but 4 gears down??? Horner saying Max lifted off when he actually went down 4 gears!!
Paul Di Resta could close glass eyes the boring miserable git. Sky really ought to to think their whole team through from commentary to presentation/analysis. Davidson and Karun are both awesome, balanced and humble and set the standard for me. Crofty can **** off
Get rid of Lazenby for starters, Hill is still living off the glory of winning in a Williams when it was the best car on the grid. I want some other F1 analysts who won’t minced their words and call a spade a spade.
