We had a lot of improvement today actually scored a goal! contentiously 2! Scott was at fault for their first , the 2nd or 3rd we couldnt have done much else!
however games are going by we are improving slowly , but others are improving too (look at Millwall and forest) One with a new gaffer one with the old boss!
The question I ask now and a lot of times before ,are there 3 worse teams than us? If there is then we can keep Sean for now! If there isnt we need to look at things in detail ! If he is to get the bullet we need to have a replacement in position quickly! I dont see how having Woan as caretaker is going to help!

That's really a pointless question I'm afraid, because it can't be definitively answered until the season is over. Even cr*p teams can get a result against superior teams - just cast your mind back to Derby :)

I think Dyche has three games to save his job. I'm not advocating a decision to be taken at that point, but I'm confident that it will.

So now it is down to one game is it? Lose to Posh and SD has to go eh? Ridiculous IMHO

There may or may not be 3 worse teams than us - that is irrelevant - we should not even consider sacking SD unless there is a proper game plan on who is to replace him how much money the replacement can have to change the team - and given that our team is struggling we also need to consider how many weeks it would take and how many points may go begging whilst we appoint and then allow a new man to bed in.

If I were SD I would be devastated at the lack of support I was getting from some fans. Less than 3 months - elsewhere someone talked about jobs having 3 months probation - yes but those are "underling" jobs - the man at the top does not have a probationary period. If it takes SD time to get things right then lets believe in him and support him

Well said Leo. Society is looking for instant news, instant results and for all I know instant home brewing kits. Time to give the man a chance with some decent support from the fans.

It is relevant if there are not 3 teams worse than us..cos we'll get relegated !!
How long can we carry on with all points going begging before we change anything ???

I dont say any of this lightly....but this is the worst Watford team / worst tactics I have seen for years and im getting frustrated...how do we change the team selection? how do we change the tactics? how do we change the substitutions?........

Thing is as I have been reminded by our hosts of today is there isnt much support left! I defended us on the MT if you care to look! but less than 200 away fans today is pathetic and embarrassing!
I remind you of the facts again yes improvement to day! However 22 nd position 10 points 13 games and a very bad GD!
Lennie cant be arsed to answer your snipes anymore! The offer of peace is still there by the way!

Staines and others are rightly concerned by tactics and ineptitudes of players and the gaffer! There was improvement today and the second half at fester!
IMO Sean needs experienced help or he needs to go and be replaced by someone experienced!

We don't, the manager does - it's what he's paid for. And if he doesn't, or he does but things don't improve as a result, he'll pay the price. That is the way it works.

Yes we may get get relegated if there are not 3 teams worse than us - but we won't know if there are until the season is over. There's little or no point in worrying about how many there are worse than us at the moment as there are still 34 games to go!

The end of the season? Certainly not!

I'll repeat what I've been saying elsewhere this week - IMO he needs as much time as he's already had in order to turn things around, which takes us up to early-mid December. If there's no major improvement by then, then replace him. That would leave half a season for a replacement to wave the magic wand. As some on here seem to think that a dozen games is all it takes, that should be more than ample time.

Guys!! Once again i find myself stepping in between you two. We all have our disagreements but there is no reason we cant all get along and be civil. The team need all of us to believe in them, not fight within our ranks.

I have disagreed with you both before and im sure i will in the future, but when i do i will try to keep it clean, there is no need to air your bloomers in public.

Just had a look at the Hull board to see if it is bad all of the time. It seems as if some of their fans would like big Chris in their team. Steve Sherwood reckoned that he was a real handful for the defence today.

So he has had good comments from the commentary team and opposing fans. Is it time for some who post here to change their minds a bit about him?

the argument remains the same, but if we'd drawn today, or, shock horror, won...it wouldn't be so fervent. Suddenly, SD would have bought himself time in your eyes, for a one off game. Give him that time. BB and Leonardo are completely right, sacking the Manager now leaves us with no manager, probably no assistant manager, and a team that need direction from somewhere who aren't likely to get it! Calm down, for goodness sake! It's still only blinkin' October!

How can a team with no direction get less??

Dyche is clueless his press ramblings show as much.

And no i wouldnt agitate for a change if we were mid table or even showing positive signs.

I am so ashamed people are claiming todays game is a positive sign- we twice surrendered a lead and hull can now claim 25% of their goals were against watford

I agree you cant get rid of the manager and not have a replacement lined up ! If there is a plan to replace Sean ,I feel sure other options have been sounded out!
Been a very rocky ride for him and I fear worse is to come for him!

Might have been so different if we had nailed one of those chances against Derby! alas not to be in this timeline!
