Had the pleasure to meet leeds60 after the match yesterday.After two years, and WJ, rightly so, asking for his return
Spent a very enjoyable couple of hours chatting about life, loves and all things Leeds United.
Asked him just before we left why he was banned and he said he didn't know.
It's quite a while ago now but I do remember wondering at the time why had he been banned as I hadn't read anything that seemed worthy of a ban.
Now it's my regret I didn't ask more questions at that time. Guess I was rather blinkered where our moderators were concerned and just assumed they must be right.

Wasn't Glory that banned him though - and I,m pretty sure that Glory said at the time he felt it was wrong

So he wasn't directly banned because of anything he posted on the forum.
That to me seems totally unfair as it doesn't take into account the many posters who would have been in favour of ignoring those complaints.
I certainly would have been one of those as he's a top guy.

We sign up to this forum to debate football and partake in the banter - simple as that.
If people are offended at Leeds60's (I'm always right posts) or Gory's (fishing trips), they really shouldn't bother signing up!
If the mods think that dishing out bans because of either private PM's from these moaners or because of their own personal vendetta's is accetable to the rest of us, they really shouldn't be involved in this site

It's almost as if there has been some sort of arrangement or guarantees given.

Your pretty sure could not be further from the truth. Didn't realise that being a moderator meant not speaking your mind so with respect you're talking ****. Over the moon? No but I voted to ban him so happy he isn't here but would prefer him to be here and not causing trouble

There was no dig, I was pointing out a fact. I would have preferred Glory to have still been here and behaving, I said in another post several days ago that it is a pity we only had Glory posting on here and not Steve the guy many have met and who have said is completely different in real life.
