Yeah, and Celtic. He's been about but he's found a home now.

And he's not going anywhere! Ever!

I was told at the time by a reliable source that he was recommended to Delia by Roy Hodgson who is apparently a big friend of hers. I was also told that the Celtic connection with DM and Martin O'Neill was the reason DM went for Lambert.

I'm suprised Everton only get 6 million more than us a season, we are only three behind Sunderland and 5 behind Villa.

Some of these clubs are going to feel the pinch badly soon, if we can stay up we'll be in good shape to compete for signings.

Looks like it's not just the wages but the debts which are killing off other clubs profits. If we keep the wage bill to no more then 60% we can start looking to ground expansion in a season or two perhaps, providing we keep up and strengthen the squad accordingly by bring in some top class players. Also the investment in the academy seems to be paying off lot's of talent for the future and also a potential serious money maker. We just need those two or three more points and things are looking very positive.

    Interesting report KIO, thanks.
GBP896m invested by Abramovich in the last decade alone. Different world! We really are competing in our own league within the PL.
