Really? He's whittled over 200 different stats down to 20-odd, and found that the teams with the best stats usually get promoted.

Funny that. I wonder whether, had he looked at points won, goals for and goals against, he might have seen a similar correlation.
Shots were relegation form last season, looking better so far. Here's hoping he can convert this into points

It's not too bad, although it was almost ruined last year when uncle Arthur didn't take his shoes off and auntie Glenda brought Cadbury roses when she knows that I might have a nut allergy.

It's a bit of fun and an interesting study, and would be fascinating to see how those plots evolve over the season.

One thing to point out is we are just 2 games in. And in one of those two games we (the best team based on this) drew with Bristol Rovers (the worst team based on this), at home.

So whilst it's interesting and will of course have some correlation - 50% of our sample has shown its also pretty irrelevant.
