    who's Toure?

We look a hell of a lot better when Carroll plays, but he never ****ing plays, so cross him straight off.

Muto looks absolute dross and Gayle is always injured, so they ain't in the reckoning either.

If Sorenson looked ****e at Carlisle, I don't think he's gonna be any good in the first team.

Meaning we're stuck with our current trio of Joey, Maxy and Miggy.

I honestly wish Shola was still playing right now.

Surely the definition of a striker is a player who's job is to score goals? At least one, probably 2 of your three don't meet that criteria.

No, definition of a striker is someone who is gifted at striking the ball.

This being the case we have no strikers in our squad

No, the definition of a striker is someone who plays in the striker position.

That's why Stephanie Guivarc'h was referred to as a striker.

Yeah, despite missing a hat trick in the final.

I remember watching it and wondering how this unbelievably ****e striker got into this great team, then feeling abject horror when I found out we were buying him.

I think he was the only French player whose reputation went down during the tournament.

Had won 3 golden boots in a row before coming to us and was scoring for fun in France.

Retired a few years after he left us, and now sells swimming pools for a living.

I see Tom Allan had scored another brace so far today. Another contender?
