From what I've seen of him (which granted is not much) he can disappear in games & in our current position, we can't carry passengers (apart from the manager of course)
From a Leicester perspective it seemed like a strange signing. Out of interest how is he doing for you?
Freddy - He's only had about 70 mins play, and it showed. Now we have Reo-Coker, i can't see Wellens playing much now, so may as well pack his bags and go. He won't bring anything to the team, other than a selection headache for th manager.
I like Wellens but thinking hes only here to regain fitness and help Leicesters promotion push then I hope we dont play him. He has said Leicester wont sanction anything longer so why should we help them out. If they were in a different league then it wouldnt be so bad but they are rivals and could have an impact on our season.
Yeah I can understand that. I know we only allowed him to go out to a team in bottom 6 i think it was but 1 month won't greatly benefit him and certainly not Ipswich. A loan til Jan would have made more sense imo as at the moment we've enough cover in the middle of the park.
It just shows how far we have sunk when we are being used as a rehab centre for other clubs crocks to get match fitness! EVANS OUT! CLEGG OUT! JEWELL OUT!
