Best and Ranger ahead of him, but I wouldnt be disappointed if he was 3rd choice (for this game at least). Shola doesnt look comfortable with the mask and Lover will be even more ineffective against Stoke.

Although if we were to play 4-3-3 I would choose Best, Ranger and Kuqi as the forwards.

At least give him half an hour, we might as well have not signed him if he's just going to get 5 minute cameos.

No way, too slow, not strong enough for arsenal's reserves let alone Stokes defenders, offers little in terms of finishing that shola/best/lovenkrands don't have. Only thing he has going for him is that he's a tryer and would try his best, but I don't think that's nearly enough to warrant a start.

No he hasnt had a enough football lately.

I would start with Best/Ranger but Pardew will probably go with Best/Shola.

Stoke defence if Shola plays will have an easy game because with the mask on he wont jump.

Would it not be better for Kuqi to start against Stoke and knock their defence about a bit and win headers, he may actually appear to do his best as this is his last chance in the Premership, Ameobi just strolls about (mostly offside) being the casual player that he is. Possibly bring Ranger on for 30mins at the end for Kuqi (fitness), as Ranger has tendency to do well as an impact sub. Lover will just be a missing man in these types of matches.

Who knows, this type of game might be a good opportunity for Kuqi to grab a goal, imagine Barton on set pieces with the likes of Kuqi, Campbell, Col, Nolan to aim for.

    Harper
    Simpson, Campbell, Williamson/Col, Jose
    Barton, Tiote, Nolan, Jonas
    Best, Kuqi

Just on preference, I'd have williamson before col

Have faith, at least if Kuqi does start; i will have the uttermost confidence that he will give his all in the matches he plays in.

edit: Also Kuqi will provide the height to defend set plays from Stoke.

Williamson before Colo? Never, Colo has been our best CB and is getting better. Of course I'd play Williamson before Campbell any day of the week.

You'll get a better game out of both of them than you will from Campbell.

Jonas got a knock against Everton and hobbled off for a minute or two but came back on even though you could tell he wasn't right.

Best and Ranger without a doubt IMO. Kuqi on for the last 30 if we aren't getting anything.

I'd like to see Best & Ranger start, but isnt Ranger in Pardew's bad books...?

I cant see us starting with anyone other than Best & McLovin'hands TBH.

From the reports about Kuqi in the reserve match he shouldn't even be on the bench.
