I watched the first two episodes.

They put English subtitles when Klingon was been spoken. Aren't all trekkies fluent in Klingon?

Is this worth watching? Always loved Star Trek, especially DS9. Initially loved Voyager, but it became a bit meh for me.

Loved all of the movies as well.

So the question is, does this suck or will I be addicted to it?

It's been decent, but there's only been two episodes so far, so a bit early to properly judge.

Its getting a bit of a slating. I quite enjoyed it and I'm willing to stick with it.. Decent totty in First Officer Burnham as well, always helps.

I intend to watch it tonight. Watched The Orville last night which is a sort of ST parody. First two episodes were decent; 3rd not so much.

With some of the apparent foreign language speakers on here, it’s pretty clear it’s just a Google translate copy and paste.

However, with the Klingon speakers on this thread, I can well believe that they’re fluent.

Well yes I wondered about that, so I'll put it down to being transgendered and she hasn't changed her name yet, or something like that. Or she's some alien life form where names are fully unisex.
