Well after all those years of supporting that dross, he deserved some sort of medal

 

Oxygen does sterilise clothes...ozone is more poisonous to humans.

 

Ozone is oxygen, in a different molecular formation (3 atoms instead of 2).

 

oxygen itself seems unlikely to do that. in conjunction with an agent that uses oxygen it might do. ozone by itself, yep poisonous

the reason i question it is the first result on google involved hotels using ozone systems which convert oxygen to ozone for use in the machine.

 

yeah it's oxygen atoms but not oxygen the molecule.

on that note, i'm off for a glass of h2o2.
