Spoke to the Gas bus driver this afternoon when he was parked outside Bradfords ground (got a good piccy of us in the bus!) - he said that PB read the riot act to the team - looks like its his way or .... bye bye - don't think he will stand for dissenters in the squad!
I guess so Rhinestone, but if he see's it fit to kick out all the players who disagree with him, or doesnt do what he wants, without giving them a proper chance to settle in, we might only have a very small squad come the end of May
Having worked with International coaching teams for many years, I have found that most professional coaches are pretty feisty characters. They are self opinionated, thick skinned (they have to be when they get so much critisicm when things dont go well), have their own plan for team tactics and style of play and they do not believe in pussy footing around players who 'cock up' or do not toe the line (the coach's line not the players conception of it). From what I have seen I reckon Buckle is in the mould.
About time you changed your manager, Heard a nice man called Keith Millen might be free soon, you are the perfect level for him.
I seem to remember several ex Gas managers have finished up at your end. So you have several choices from last season all ready. So you wont be getting Buckle by devious means.
I was also told the same thing on the Morecambe forum that Stanley didn't see eye to eye with Sammy McIlroy so it must be true thats why he went on loan to Torquay last season but he seemed to be a fan faveorite by the sounds of things.
