Loads of pensioners can afford it. As I've said before pensioner with a company pension as well as their state pension and with no mortgage have more disposable than people with kids and a mortgage or rent and even single ones on minimum wage or low wages. My lad have to do 60 hours a week after stoppages to have after tax what I have. And he has rent to find out of that. Ever noticed all the pensioners taking foreign holidays?
There won't be that many in terms of numbers paying for their grandkids anyway.
Finally, why will the absence of OAPS mean that the present lot of sit down brigade will be making noise to compensate for even more of "the lads" being absent? Promotion will only mean more of the spectators as opposed to supporters there only to see the other teams and their supporters.
I, as always, want City to win, but think we will be no better off in so many ways if we do.
Let's just beat Wednesday and see what happens mate. At the end of the day that's all we can do.
