Stand up/Sit down debate

I like to stand so I made sure I got seats in the back row, the stewards used to get us to sit down as we were blocking the adverts but they don't seem to care anymore. If you're not in the back row you can't expect to stand, not everyone wants too. You can still sing sitting down, I don't understand why people say you can't - have you never been to a Westlife gig? They spend half the song sat down and only stand up at the epic key change..........so I'm told.
