Swans fan in peace.

Hi Lads, just wanted to get your views on this guy? we were linked with him in the summer and I was kind of disappointed he did not come to us..

Is he playing much?
What are your views on his all-round game play so far?

Cheers

Yeah, as Spurm says, he hasn't had too many games, but he's looked fairly decent when he has played.
Done the basics well and shown the odd glimpse of a bit of class.
Generally hasn't played against opposition that would test him though, barring Besiktas.

Your best bet to catch anything of his game would be to look for our cup games. He's been left out of some of those, though.
Away to Asteras Tripolis of Greece up next Thursday, where I hope to see him start and none of our first XI travel, frankly.

Played well last night and has done nothing wrong in his appearances thus far. Looks a good player and very handy to have. Could develop into a very good player.

A lot of us would prefer Stambouli to start in the PL at this point. Capoue was excellent until the Man City game. Now he's had two straight clunkers. I have no idea why. Stambouli is in the same boat as Fazio, I think. The starters (Capoue and Kaboul) seem to be better at their best this year, but they're also likelier to be genuinely poor.

He's been impressive so far. There was one half, I can't remember whether it was in the Europa League or against Forest, where he kept giving the ball away but generally he's done well and it's only been Capoue's form that's kept him out.

Apparently he used to play centre back a bit too. Given how some of our defenders are playing it might be worth giving him a go in defence.
