Sort it out Ainsworth coz 1 goal in our first 3 games 2 of which were at home is not good enough.Mid-table at best again it seems and Oxford must be looking forward to playing us next Saturday.
Mansfield were a poor long ball team we were just poor for 85 minutes why so many changes to the starting line up Paris was our only threat if we could get the ball to him Kuffour didn't do a thing all game until he missed a sitter near the end McClure started brightly first 10 minutes then may as well have gone off Arnold was busy as well as Scowen but with little result Matt Spring was in the middle of the park but we didn't use him as the defence decided to play long ball and head tennis instead of bringing the ball down and passing through the midfield McCoy's distribution was terrible as was Dunne who if any scouts were watching him they wont be watching any more Doherty was off the pace throughout looked like he needed a couple more warm up games and Stewart couldn't carry him and played poorly himself Ingham was our man of the match but at least our bench was strong with Wood not used until Paris got injured and Deano replaced McClue around the hour and Max replacing Arnold about 20 minutes later with JP and Leon and Craig left warming the bench Their goal came about a set piece given away by Dunne who got booked but I thought it should have been a free kick to us and maybe their player sent off as his foot was chest high all in all a bad display until 85 minutes plus 7 minutes injury time when we brought the ball down and started playing
