This is the training ground.

Exactly right. Trust me if it was happening in Hanwell I would know for sure.

100% certain new stadium wont be in Hanwell.

Other possible confusion is Southall Gasworks site which is close to Hanwell. Southall Gasworks site is the second site in the frame from what I'm told

Crossrail will be connecting all these places up, some time in the next 1,000 years. If we get in early enough we might get our own station, 15 minutes or so from Bond Street. It's beginning to make sense.
Would much prefer W12 though.

Not sure there is much land in Hanwell to build on. (I'm from Southall). i know the area very well!!

Maybe the ground where Hive used to play, by boston Manor st. Or up the road a bit in the park oppo the royal pub.

more likely to be Gunnersbury Prk i think. Large enough, good links and easy access.

tey could always use the "bunny park" and knock down the white flats to do everyone a favour.

Also, there is a running track next to Gurnel pool. a stadium would fiit alongside nicely. Its all true though...

Not sure about the horse thing though? where are they kept !

for those of yuo who dont kniow the area, i appologise as this must sound like crap !!

I was born in the area, and whilst I admit it was a lot nicer back in the sixties, it's in need of a regeneration now, and possibly the building of a swanky new Premier League stadium will do for Hanwell what the Olympic Park is doing for Stockwell.

There IS a mainline station in Hanwell, so the infrastructure is kind of in place, I would assume that part of the cost of building there would need to include upgraded links from the station to the ground, and the location would mean we retain a West London postcode (albeit a W7 one instead of a W12).

Stockwell?

I'm tired, and have no connection with East London. I don't really care whether it's Stockwell or Stratford, I couldbn't get any tickets so can't be arsed now... :)
