You are probably right about having to move the bricks, I was just trying to come up with a cheaper solution. However on balance this may compromise the aesthetics of the whole scheme.

Someone mentioned escalators earlier. I think that's a great idea, especially if you could get up form the ground floor to a larger concourse on the first. But you'd probs still be expanding into the car park to do that.

I think the footbridge should have a had a monorail from outside the Peacock to the SOL with walkways either side. Not that I'm lazy or anything.
