Is it just me but if this was any other country this would be big news?

Imagine someone from Man City was found to be looking through the books of another EPL club. Another EPL club that just happened to be up for sale.

There would be questions being asked all over the media. But not in Scotland. Oh no. A couple of paragraphs tagged on at the end of another story is about the best you can expect up here.

Disgraced Secretary of known corrupt football club Rangers FC, makes enquiry about St Mirren, a club just a few miles down the road. Nah, move along. Nothing to see here.

i think it quite odd that you would follow me round like a love sick schoolgirl just to make sure I know that you are ignoring me. I feel like the least ignored- ignored person in history.

And yes ST, it is big news, but as it means that Rangers were preparing for a liquidation event at very least as far back as November (although i am gonna go out on a limb and say the day £1 changed hands) then I am entirely unsurprised that it has gone beneath the radar.

Chick Youngs rather demure piece last week should be followed up with a massive **** you broadside against the men who would kill his club because they can't save their own.,... But he wont.

Play a round of golf, RabidBhoy, or get a hobby, or do something constructive with your time. Your Rangers obsession is making you ill.

    I'm worried about you. <ok>

Two of the things I care greatly about are Celtic and justice. It so happens that Rangers have ****ed over both of these things through cheating. To you, that looks like an obsession with Rangers. To me, it is tending to both Celtic and Justice to at least discuss these topics.

That might appear to be somewhat self righteous & that is probably because it is. Mainly because I can afford to be.

So thank you for your concern but it really is not warranted. You can continue to make this topic about me if you wish but i would rather duscuss the topic at hand.

This is indeed big news in Paisley.

For the record, St Mirren and Celtic are the only two Scottish clubs to publish accounts in the black for two years running.

St Mirren's ground was built by Tesco in exchange for not selling Love St to Sainsbury's - This cleared their debt and they've operated a policy of taking players from lower leagues along with loanees from bigger clubs to get themselves a decent squad mix.

Historically, the Gilmour family controlled St Miren (Kelly/Whyte style) and the chairman used to sit with the fans at away games. Gilmour's been trying to sell for a couple of years and this is maybe where the correlation with Rangers mass fiddling could come from.

In light of a wee bit of news I heard this morning I am more and more worried about the integrity of Basta.. David Murray and poor
Craig Whyte. My concern is about the selling price of Rangers £1.00 and the fact that we never had a publicity shoot of the transfer
of money. We know Murray never missed an opportunity to have is lovely face in the Scottish media.
The main concern is the price of £1.00, now I know values can be different in different countries but a hockey club in Canada which is
in a similar if not worse financial position than Rangers. This team is currently bankrupt and it was sold for world record price of £2 billion.
Now even the mathematics among Rangers fans I am sure would admit that there is a fair old price difference. Some people are been conned.
