In all reality I would rather have Spurs be a rival than Chelsea.
I remember when everyone hated Leeds because of the way they played and their manager. Chelsea are the new Leeds and I hope they go the same way.

There are 10 matches left, so 30 points for everyone to play for. You're only 10 points behind us. So, we've got to lose 4 matches to give you a chance of overtaking us. It could happen. Do you think it will?

If you don't think it will happen, then by logical deduction you believe that we will be finishing above you, this season. So, the valid question remains - when do you think it will become mathematically impossible for Arsenal to finish above Spurs?

Obviously, if both teams never lose another match, St Arsehole's Day will be celebrated at the end of match 35.

I reckon we can get the business done before then, though.

I know that this is a wum thread - hands up, guilty, your Honour! - but there is a serious point behind it.

I simply don't believe in that bollocks spouted by some Gooners that where you finish in relation to Spurs isn't something you think about. Rubbish! You might just have been able to get away with that comment at the end of last season, but it's clearly the case that the long-awaited Power-Shift isn't merely a blip, and that you are now very much the poorer cousin in North London. Most of the Gooners I know feel more pain from the continual jibes endured at the mouths of us Yids, than they do at the prospect of spending another season in the CL wilderness.

So, yes, I am having a bit of a laugh at your expense with this thread, but that doesn't meant that there isn't some serious footy discussion to be had off the back of it.
