If Spurs come third and get CL.

And Arsenal come fifth and win cup who has had better season?

Like Spurs fans have been saying for years, what's the point in qualifying for CL when you don't even compete.

Out on Match day 5 of group stages

  6. Well, without half their key players, and no CL footy (so not a very attractive proposition for other top players, I wouldn't say that Arsenal winning another FA Cup would be much consolation to most of their fans.

What you are offering to Spurs is not what is going on in the real world.

Your real offer should be: a solitary FA Cup this season, or the next four or five seasons finishing in the top 4 and earning good revenue from CL footy, needed to pay for our stadium?

    It's a no-brainer.

  9. I coined the phrase "St Arsehole's Day" a while back, when I sensed that there was a shift in power starting to gain some momentum.

I predict that St Arsehole's Day is going to be a regular feature of hilarity across this site.

Theres no shift in power Gimpy one season wouldn't be enough for any sane person to make an arsehole out of themselves making such stupid claims. Come back if you finish above Arsenal for the next five years and actually win something of note but you would still be in their shadow as they have dominated you for over 20 years wining two doubles and 6 FA Cups.

I called it a long time ago now, no matter what happens in the football, HIAG will always find a way to end up on the wrong end of a piss take.

You sound like Arsenal fans and Arsene Wenger in 2006?

WOuldn't you rather win a trophy than top 4 cup?

In 2006 it was a sensible approach. A lack of ambition since then was not.

  16. Oh, dear, CFC!

I think this little wum ****-up is going to come back and bite you viciously on the arse, mate!

Have you seen what Wenger has said about finishing in the top 4?

I'm looking for the exact quote, right now...

But it set an acceptance of top 4 rather than titles, and Wenger could not change the mentality once it had set in

This mentality only seems to have set in once Citeh won the lottery
(so at worst since 2012) .
