  2. Who's saying that our finishing above you this season will wipe out your history? I'm certainly not.

Indeed, I have expressly stated that your more illustrious history over the last 20-odd seasons if proof of the dominance that you held over us. I don't know how I can be any clearer on that point.

You need to put aside your tendency towards personal insults and talk to me. It isn't my fault that your club is falling to pieces, mate. You'll find no one who wishes you a speedier recovery than me; as the last thing I want is for you to sink into oblivion.

  3. How is voting for "St Arsehole's Day" evidence of my being a muppet?

What evidence do you have that Arsenal will make up the ground on us?

    #83

  4. Yes, CFC, there is plenty of evidence to show that Arsenal used to be the dominant force in North London.

To be fair, I have already covered that point.

You need to read what's been written before stepping into the debate. It will save a lot of embarrassment on your part, mate.

What evidence do you have to say you won't bottle it? You do have previous!

by the same logic of what you posted "Skids, are you one of the three muppets who voted that this season will see a St Totteringham's Day celebration"?

  8. We are 11 points clear, with 9 games to go.

Spurs have looked good all season.

We have a very good young manager, whom not only our fans, but other top managers have commended.

We have the second best goal-difference in the league, only one point behind Chelsea.

And our next three games are highly winnable.

By contrast, Arsenal have been rocking this season, with reports of dressing-room bust ups and discontentment.

Wenger looks tired and bereft of ideas, and there is a concerted effort on the part of a significant portion of their fan-base and ex-legends to get rid of him.

There is a goal-difference of 14 between us and them, and they currently sit 7 points off 4th spot.

Right, Skids... I've given you my reasons, now let me have yours.

Please do not bottle a response...

I don't think that many neutrals would consider Manure to be dominant over Citeh at the moment despite their long illustrious history and far more top division championships. I do not think that we could be considered dominant over Arsenal based on just one season but if we consistently finish above you for four or five seasons your excellent record of 13 times winners would not entitle you to claim dominance over us.

Looks like it may actually happen this year.

Spurs are legitimately good and Arsenal off the boil.

Ironically Mr Arsenal is actually contributing to all of this.

  12. Yes, Skiddy?

    What are you waiting for?

You haven't put forward any cogent or coherent argument for your support of Arsenal. One has to conclude that you have fallen into a Muppet-trap, and that you are acting out of blind and puppy-eyed loyalty.

Ive put forward the indisputable facts Gimps, You bottle it when the crunch comes....did you learn from last year? Europe says no you bottled it but not once but twice. As I said you have previous Gimps......

  14. So, let's get this straight.

Your entire reason for calling "St Totteringham's Day" and not "St Arsehole's Day" is due to the fact that, in your words, we "bottled it" last season? And you advance this argument despite the fact that Arsenal currently sit 11 points behind us, with only 9 games left to play?

    Is that correct, Skiddy?

Lets go to the point of validity here Gimps There is no such thing as St Arseholes day (other than your birthday) As it has never happened in premiership history. I think another name is warranted as no-one wants to hear about the day you were born. <ok>

I think you would also need to win some major trophies in that time too. Just finishing above us for a few seasons won't really make you 'dominant'. We've finished above you and won 2 FA cups in the last few seasons and that's whilst we've been in our so called 'decline'.

If Spurs can consistently finish in the top 4 above Arsenal and win trophies, then they can begin to lay some claim to being dominant.

At the moment however, Spurs have done nothing. Arsenal are having a bad season and you look like you'll finish above us, but it does your fans no favours to be crowing about it like it's some kind of revolution like HIAG is doing.
