Best friends forever? Well assuming Colo is an eleven year old girl he won't be going anywhere then.

Hopefully we'll get him signed up for another couple of years. I wouldn't expect him to see it out (just doesn't happen at our club any more) but he's getting on a bit and if we lose him in a couple of years time it would be nice to get some cash to replace him.

I could see this rumbling on though, it's a similar situation to Barton where the club will be trying to get them to take a pay cut. He'll be in no hurry to sign it.

 

Hope we can come to a compromise with wages, as there's a big difference between 80k p/w and 50k p/w. Perhaps with him being captain, an exception will possibly be made.
