Broad's going to miss all of the ODI/T20s, hoping to be fit for tests.

    Only 2 tests? Shame.

Sri Lanka win 1st T20 match, Bell Root and Morgan let us down, not many runs for too many balls. Hales, Buttler and Bopara our best players in this format as they have been for some time but by the time the latter two come in the game is lost.

After comfortably beating Sri Lanka the other day, that was a short-lived new era of actually playing well.
My view is that we were going for too many shots in the first few overs making it look easy but when a couple of wickets fell, doubt set in, the bowlers got on top and we collapsed. Slow and steady like Sri Lanka played was the way.

3rd ODI: Sri Lanka bowled out for 67, can England chase down the 68 needed to win?

Butler run out whilst backing up,even though the
    bowler had warned him.
    Naive or what ?

    Probably won't do that again.

This game could be very close, Sri Lanka favourites.

Hales should be in the England ODI team, he blasted 160 odd for his county today.

2nd test, day 4: England cruising to a comfortable win... by the end of the day it was England on the brink of a humiliating defeat and it mostly came down to Cook's lack of imagination when trying to take the 8th wicket. Can't see any point in focusing on the tailender when there are still 2 to come. I think Cook is not a captain and would like to see someone else get the job but who is there?

Moeen Ali - a tremendous performance to bat out the day, looks the real deal. Can see him being the next captain, no idea if he can captain but I think he'll be in the team for the next decade.
