LB- Dummet can defend but when you can't seem to attack for your life and consistently find yourself, with the ball, higher up our pitch than the winger half the match, you're team will get destroyed in Prem.
LW- Atsu as back up, needs to be able to cross consistently to make use of Mitro.
One CB- Mbemba will improve, I rate Clarke and won't chastise him for one relegation season with Villa (in a defence with Lescott).
Then AM and I'll cope with the strikers we have til January all day long.
Spunk 75m on that I'd he happy

You'd be happy to risk Gayle? One injury and we've got a strikeforce of Mitro and Perez. They struggled to cut it in the Championship.

Aye but when Perez is in strike, when did he actually fail in the Prem? Only failed when the whole team did.
To be fair Gayle was not rushed back from last injury so I'd say injury can happen to any of our 25 players.

Mitro I get your point and could easily trade out for someone in, but I'm feeling it this year. To me if you play a style like Mitro and you start getting more crossing service, you will always find more joy in the Prem than Championship. His link up play always looked good in Prem to me aswell.

For a holding mid would anyone go for Sulley Muntari?

Obviously having his issues over in Italian football and has played EPL before. No holds bar DM (although likely to miss a few games through suspension), stick him in front of the back four and let the fullbacks and midfield support the striker force.

Disgracful what he's been through in the last week or so but at least FIFA are considering disiplining the Italian F.A.:

Would take him all day long but that's based on form of 2-6 year ago, can't say I've seen him lately

No not ever. Just do not rate him. He went backwards some time ago. 32 now and has not got better. Shame as he looked decent when in his early 20's. He'd be crucified in the PL. Anyway look at his face man...

Agreed, I haven't seen him recently but again with someone like Hayden in the squad he could learn a lot from Muntari if he was just a squad player/impact sub to see out games.

Haha, maybe we should go in for Giroud, sexiest man in the EPL supposedly, if that's what your into?

No they don't have to look like Yohan, but he has a disturbing face. It looks like someone has started in the middle and ironed outwards in every direction. If that's not the result of inbreeding I'll be amazed. Mind he did have a loan spell at Sunderland...

He has the kind of face where you look and think to yourself...'hmm....Mike Ashley and Lee Charnley have both had a go, failed and it's left to Carver to finish the job off.' That is one truly scary pic. He's a cross between sloth from Goonies and Teresa May's scowl.

I thought Sulley Muntari is Oba Martin's great uncle?

In terms of the question re squad strategy, I'm in favour of the squad rotation system approach.

And if I'm not mistaken then at the next rotation for the 2017-2018 season, it will be our turn to have Chelsea's squad.

Given their policy of buying youngsters and loaning them out, you might not be far wrong!

You would have to say, these days, that if you are under 15yo and haven't been signed by Chelski or Citeh then you're dead.

Perez is decent. But he is a CF. In the box first to react type. We always had him doing too much running as was probably one of our only good players for ages. Put him and Mitro on the pitch together up front for a run of games and they would be a decent partnership.

And you want Ben Arfa back.

Would it not be easier if you just started following PSG instead ;) ?
