First article on here and thought there was a lot of significance about the squad numbers for this coming season.
1) The noticable changes of Guly and Chamberlain, I think with all the rumours surrounding Chamberlain I think it almost tells the papers to do one. I know its just a number but if you were that desperate to move clubs why bother change your number, I think its also nice to get across the fact that we rate Chamberlain highly and a number such as 11 shows meaning for him to stay here. I was also pleased to see Guly move to 10 as I believe he deserved it.
2) Number 5 is free, to me this smells of a future transfer because we have 3 CB who could have been promoted to this number yet it has remained free, could this be one of the signings before the Memorial Cup?
3) Nice to see that Ward-Prowse and Stephens have been given numbers for this season as we all look forward to see them integrating into the squad; most likely Carling Cup.
