Sunderland AFC have confirmed squad numbers for the 2016-17 Premier League season. Papy Djilobodji will wear number 5 and Paddy McNair will wear 19, while Donald Love takes the 22 shirt. Adnan Januzaj, Sunderland’s latest addition, will wear the number 44 shirt. There are new numbers for Vito Mannone who takes the number 1 shirt and Younes Kaboul will wear 4. Duncan Watmore takes 14, while Wahbi Khazri moves to the number 10 shirt. There are also first-time squad numbers for Joel Asoro (29), Ethan Robson (25), Josh Maja (35) and Michael Ledger (43). Great to see the young lads getting given squad numbers. Reckon we'll see some of them more than in previous years.
I reckon PVA is going to be our stand out player this year. Moyes tactics will suit him down to the ground and I reckon he's going to make a massive impact, this season. I've got Khazri down as our big game player, just seems the kind that can do something special. His set piece deliveries are on another level.
Pleased to see Asoro getting a number but I'm getting some of the U'21-s are given them just in case? I'm not sure how that works tbh.
He's already there, his goal and assist against Man Utd. Wonder goal to pull us back into the game against Chelsea. I've gone blank, but there's more. Him, Borini and Januzaj, could genuinely do a lot of damage the more I think of it, especially down the left side with PVA bombing on past them. **** it. HAWAY THE LADS!!!!!!
Our forward options behind the striker look great: Khazri, Borini, Januzaj, Watmore, Lens. 11 is my number lol, I won't wait by the phone for a call I think we will sign some sort of Striker who will wear 11.
