Charlton have confirmed their squad numbers for the 2015/16 campaign, with Jordan Cousins being the big mover by swapping his number 24 strip for the number eight shirt.
Previously held by former skippers Mark Kinsella and Matt Holland, the academy graduate is likely to break the 100 appearances barrier with the number eight next term, having turned out 94 times for the club thus far.
His vacant 24 becomes occupied by youngster Regan Charles-Cook, with fellow academy graduates Tareiq Holmes-Dennis and Karlan Ahearne-Grant now occupying 18 and 19 respectively.
New signing Cristian Ceballos, who grabbed an assist on his debut against Bolton Wanderers on Friday evening, takes the esteemed number 10 jersey from Franck Moussa, who will be given choice of a new number upon his return to fitness.
Defensive recruits Patrick Bauer and Naby Sarr will don number five and six respectively next term. Simon Makienok takes nine. The tall, imposing striker’s style of play being well suited to the reputation that his squad number is associated with on British soil.
Fellow recruit El-Hadji Ba comes in at 22, Zakarya Bergdich at 19 while another new man, Ahmed Kashi, takes the number three.
