The typical second choice keeper Number 13 has been left free, a very sure sign that we are not just settling for Flitney with Hawkes as back-up?

To be honest other than that I don't think too much can be read into this.

From these numbers I would conclude:

- Hessy is determined to get King back to his best and back in the starting lineup regularly
- Whelpdale and Lee both to start the season in the 1st team
- Midfield partnership of Payne and Lee? Possibly with Weston playing behind a lone striker (could be a good option away from home, at least)?
- Kedwell looking like the 1st choice striker

I did read somewhere that Birchill chose to have his number. It wasn't like he didn't get given a normal number.

I think Ashley Miller may be off to Liverpool this summer. They have wanted him before maybe they will bring him in now.

It would be a shame to see miller go but he really wouldn't break into our team atm or in the foreseeable future either. how does this gazza guy look in goal maybe he'll fill the spot?
