officially thats true but 90% of the squad are listed in the same place as their old numbers with new players slotted in the empty spaces. It doesnt take a genius to spot whats happened. Basically hes probably only saying that so people dont go out and buy a shirt with someones number on and then find its been changed.
The 3 youngsters dont have to be included in the 25 man squad due to their age, neither does fabio i believe.
Fabio does need to be in the 25 - he is too old, just. At the Wycombe game they were the numbers read out for each player - and imo its obvious that will be the squad numbers. So by that reckoning the ones to leave are: Young, Barton, Smith, Campbell, Bothroyd, Hulse. And as I have said for a while I think we need a LB, CB, and a ST or two now HH has gone.
