We have finally clinched the loan signing of young striker Miles Storey from Swindon.

Also our ex-goalie Phil Smith has signed a contract with Confrerence side Aldershot - he should do well for them.

    Aldershot? More like Alder****

(though I have been to a few of their games, and lived there for a while)

The World Cup just doesn't do it. Just want proper football to start again.

It's been about a month of so since I did the last one so here's the updated team:

    Goalkeepers

    Paul Jones
    Michael Poke

    Defence

    Danny East
    Joe Devera
    Nicky Shorey
    Adam Webster
    Ben Chorley
    Dan Butler
    Jack Whatmough
    Alex Wynter

    Midfield

    Andy Barcham
    Richie Holmes
    Johnny Ertl
    Wes Fogden
    Danny Hollands
    Jed Wallace
    Nigel Atangana
    James Dunne

    Forward

    David Connolly
    Tom Craddock
    Ryan Bird
    Ryan Taylor
    Patrick Agyemang
    Craig Westcarr
    Miles Storey

I've left out the youth players that haven't yet played any significant time for the first team.

Since the last squad update we've added a goalkeeper and a defender, lost one midfielder but added two others ones and added a forward. I'd say we've made up a bit for the loss of Bradley and N'Gala with Wynter adding depth, we're still strong in midfield but we still have too many forwards - though according to this: http://footballleagueworld.co.uk/pompey-striker-set-for-exit/ we might be on the verge of losing Connolly soon so that might balance it out a bit more.

There may be another update before the season starts.
