Looks like you be having communication problems amongst your team half talking Italian a few more speaking French and you manager talking bollox (must be a closet Leeds supporter)
We dont have a manager ffs. We have a director of football and a first team coach. Most top european clubs do it that way
Such a continental club you have there, playing in exotic locations such as Rotherham, Bolton and Blackburn, The Grand Tour of northern hotspots
Thats only our warm up tour for the great days ahead, Nou Camp, San Siro etc. Of course we've been to them all before so no real novelty of course
EIO ... I like your posts, normally intelligent and on the money, but bitterness does you no justice at all ... as Eire quite rightly points out, we've seen all those European stadia at some point, and the good thing is we will be visiting them again, because once Leeds gets back to the Prem we will push on ... I guess as a Millwall fan it must be a very distant dream, playing Barcelona in the Champions League, winning a League Title ... so you see, at least our dreams are real, we've experienced them, and we know what it feels like ... roll on the good times, they're coming back to Elland Road because we have a proud owner with a determination to succeed, he wants to mix it with the top clubs in Europe and now he owns a club where HE can finally realise his dream ... its going to be so sad never having to play Millwall again, erm, or maybe not
@BillysStatue, as football supporters we are entitled to dream, and yes one day you may well be mixing it with the Premiership big boys... but until that time you are all very welcome at The Den, where you can be sure of your usual reception... who knows what the future holds, one good season in the Championship with the added benefit of Premier League money can transform ANY club, would be nice to see both clubs go up, and have a victory at Old Trafford..... now that really is a dream....but it is what keeps us all going, week after week, mostly tinged with disappointment which makes the good days so much better... so heres to a good day out on Saturday..... COYL
spot on EIO ... nice to see you're back on the form I respect you for bud ... I guess the key thing for Leeds is the club has massive support and is a global brand, and when last in the Prem was in top five for revenue generated and in top twenty globally ... this is what will help Leeds to flourish in the top flight, unlike smaller clubs like Blackpool and Pompey for example who face certain meltdown if they lee their top flight status and can't rebound immediately ... as for Millwall getting up, of course your club can do a Burnley, and Holloway has pedigree, but its all about getting a few players of genuine quality into the club and hoping they stay injury free ... Saturday will be interesting, two teams rebuilding and trying to find their feet, so I feel it will come down to desire, and mistake or a moment of sheer quality that decides this one ... step forward Steve Morison ... COYL = Come On You Leeds
Lets hope Sorenson signs today along with a striker and a wideboy and Fatty Kenny goes to Blackpool along with Hunt
UDATED ... Sorensen signed ... Cellino says at the very least another striker and defender, so I guess we won't be playing with wingers after all
Indeed Eire, indeed, last time we saw this kind of influx was under Publicity Pete, difference is Cellino isn't offering a minimum wage of £20k a week to a Jacob Burns quality player ... we have to offload a few now, and I feel that sadly we will lose Smith because he is not a "Hock style" player, we know he likes small 'uns like Hunt and Poleon, and hs latest "statement" is that Poleon is perfect as an "impact" player off the bench ... wow, that really will make the lad happy, especially now Sharp has signed because it means Poleon won't even make the bench because the new signing will take his place as we are forced to watch Hunt do nothing for an hour
