Having had a look at the squad, if we can get Sorensen and Delort in that would be huge for us .. and a few more would help for sure .. its a long, tough old season in the Championship, and although we do have talented youngsters available and another 18-year old starlet from Milan, we have seen what a hard division this is and the effect it had on both Byram and Mowatt ... we definitely need more experience for sure
Just had another look at the OP, Billy. I think we should hold on to Tonge as a squad player. I think he'll clock up a fair bit of game time this season, mostly as cover. After Saturday, jury has got to be out on Morison. He looks lean & fit, and more importantly, seems to be motivated. Perhaps a keeper for the same reasons as Tonge. I'd like another look at Poleon before deciding if he's a keeper, a loaner, or a twat. He looked to me as though he'd bulked up bigstyle during the close season, which is a good thing, but the thing that might be his downfall is his reluctance to pass the ball. If his decision-making remains as poor, then it's time for him to go. Permanently.
