I thought Spurs should have had two penalties personally, the one in the first half and the one where Lascelles fell over and supermanned into Kane taking him out.

I also think we massively benefited from the gap between our transfer window and the European one, otherwise Eriksen and Vertonghen would have played.

Having said that, cracking effort from all the lads. Yes, I hate watching our lads put everyone behind the ball and Sam Allerdyce our way to premier league safety, but that's all any manager can be expected to do under these conditions.

Of the other talking points, Sanchez should obviously have received a yellow for the foul on Muto, it was the most obvious foul during the match... and lastly, I am glad Spurs played on with Joelinton on the floor. GOOD. It's the rules. No head injury, you play on, there is nothing sporting about kicking it out, because going down like that is cheating.

The Leeds game where they scored a perfectly good goal with Villa cheating on the floor should have stopped this "kick it out" ****e. That does not make it a gentlemen's game, so cut it out.

What was the 1st 1? And Lascelles was stupid for diving in but Kane jumped into him, no pen

I believe it was Schar who kicked Son in the penalty area before we scored. I think if the ref had given the pen then VAR would have agreed.

The second one is similar in that if the ref had given it, I think VAR would have agreed. Harry Kane did lean into it a bit, but I don't think he was looking for a dive until Lascelles had genuinely impeded him (not on purpose, he tripped while running, but still clumsy and impeded Kane getting the ball). I think Kane was just leaning in to hold off the challenge so he could get a strike away.

If a pen had been given for either, I would have had no complaints, pretty sure the players wouldn't have kicked up a fuss either.

They could both have been given like, but Son is a diving little fanny and Kane was playing for his

Nailed on MOTD will have some tosspot like Danny Murphy or Jermaine Penas whinging about it
Funny thing is they got 2 huge decisions from VAR in their favour against City recently, they weren't moaning then so they just suck it up and get over it.
