We can try flipping the wingers, but I don't really believe that was the problem with Tadic yesterday. No one really played badly (bar perhaps Forster), it was sort of collectively Tottenham pressured us and so no one had the time on the ball they'd have liked.

The difference to me is in the fullbacks. Bertrand loves to look for the overlapping run down the sideline and then using his pace to get in behind and crossing. Clyne plays a bit more of a support role. He looks to cut inside more often instead of just running to the corner and crossing. And he gets involved with the passing and hangs out near players as an outlet instead of bombing down the flanks. He's almost like having an extra midfielder.

I like it that way. Two fullbacks with slightly different styles, and two wingers who can switch sides during a game (which happened at least twice in the last game between Mane and Tadic).

You will be telling us that we shouldn't get too up when we win, too down when we lose, next

I think Fran quoted Ronald in an earlier post. He said [I may not be 100% accurate here]... we don't make parties about winning but we don't make **** about losing.

Which I think is the same thing only which a Dutch flavour to it. :)
