Last night I hastily remarked in the heat of us conceding the third goal, urged Marshall to be discarded at the next opportunity, but he was of course up against it with the regular incisiveness of Spur's attacks and the lack of protection from our overran outfield players. I still think The Jak should be given the position for the next match to reward his stalwart efforts.

 

That's really not a great thing for our record signing to be saying.

Having seen the goals, we could have had Peter Shilton, Pat Jennings and Lev Yashin in goal ,all at the same time. They wouldn't have stopped them, this blame game is getting silly.

I don't understand what you are saying? I know where Elmo and Snoddy were playing. And Elmo is at his best as RWB. Snoddy as our best player is probably more dangerous playing centrally. I don't believe Robbos is a wing back having to play at left back. He's a left back. Parlour commented on talk sport that Saha was use to teams doubling up on him (ie LB and LM) all season, so had the freedom on Saturday to cause havoc. Last night two goals were due to Elmo and Robbo getting exposed, that is how teams are suppose to attack playing against 3 5 2. Not sure any of the back three are comfortable with the system, Macguire was hopelessly. Brucie abandoned the system because Daws didn't like playing it. They had zero protection in front of them. We looked more threatening up front but never particularly looked like scoring and certainly not as many as we'd concede.
I agree in some ways his hand is forced due to the ridiculous squad size. And only Ehab to blame for that

 

But how many games are we likely to score as many or more than the 3 we have conceded in the last two games?
