I can't see Walker going anywhere, Ensil.
I'd be fairly surprised if we even sold Naughton, to be honest.

I know we've been heavily linked with Cahill too, but imo at £17m he is way overpriced. I'm hoping that we don't shell out this sort of money for him as I think we could get better for less (albeit probably only slightly) in the likes of Subotic, Hummels or Mertesaker. But at the end of the day I guess it's a supply and demand equation. And with both Arsenal and Spurs looking for CB's then prices are going to be inflated.

Can't see us or the goons getting Cahill. In the final analysis, he is overpriced and we run our clubs properly (mostly). It's either going to be ManUSA, they have been linked with him for a while now, ManArab or LiverUSA, who both seem determined to drive the price of English players through the roof.

English players are overpriced. You only have to look at the recent deals - £20m for Henderson, £18m for Phil Jones and £35m for Andy Carroll <yikes> I'm glad that my team are not engaging in this type of extravagance.

It's not English players that are overpriced, it's buying players from English clubs, especially if they're young and on long contracts.
These players tend to be English, though.

Especially when it's an English club selling to another English club. The deal will usually weaken one's standing in the league whilst strengthening another's, possibly a rival's and with that comes and added tariff.

Is it expensive?, compared to who?, Jones?, Cahill has 3 England caps, the nature of them is largely irrelevant to an agents pricing. As for what we've seen lately it seems relatively cheap. I know we got Modric for 17...times have changed...for the dearer!
