<cheers> Spurf for doing this again this season, enjoyed it. Will definitely make top division next year! Next year is my year!

Well I‘ll start to see the future
When I contemplate the year gone by
‘Cos I’ll wave that goodbye with a wistful smile
And I’ll leave it with a sigh. :emoticon-0101-sadsm
And sometimes when I'm reminiscing
I’ll see the players just like old friends
But I know that some'll be changed or gone
By the time we play at home again. :emoticon-0106-cryin

Chorus:
And I wish I was back in N17
(White Hart Lane and the grass is green) -
Yes I wish I was back in N17
(White Hart Lane and the grass is green) -
Watching Spurs with just my thoughts and dreams! :emoticon-0109-kiss:

Will Stambouli leave? Or Capoué?
When’s the last time they played for the team? :emoticon-0138-think
And as I turn left at the turnstile
I shall feel that it’s all a dream. :emoticon-0128-hi:
As I picture the thousands of times
That I’ve travelled with a sense of dread,
And I’ll dream that things will be different
In the season that now lies ahead…. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Chorus

Meantime I guess at a scoreline
When playing Everton away;
There's no one to kill my illusions,
So I sit here and daydream all day.
And behind all my muddled-up thinking
I’m depending on a goal from Kane
And a free-kick from Ericksen to go in
For the Spurs to win 2-1 again!

Chorus X2

Prediction: Everton 1 Spurs 2
Scorers: Kane, Ericksen

Cheers, Spurf! Another successful season for you! <cheers><cheers><cheers>

** "N17" is a song about an Irish emigrant longing to be driving on the N17 national route which connects Galway with Co. Mayo and Co. Sligo, passing through the Saw Doctors' hometown of Tuam. Although "N17" did not chart upon its original release, the band's appearance at the inaugural 1990 Féile music festival in Thurles, County Tipperary, cemented their reputation as a live act. The song became known as the band's anthem.

Everton 1-3 Tottenham Hotspur.
Pienaar for them, Kane, Eriksen and Chadli for us.

Thanks for doing this again, Spurf. It's down to the last game. Cheers to everyone that kept at it all season. <ok>
Audrey finishing brilliantly. Shame nobody at the ground's nicked that one, to be honest. The chorus, at least.
