Strangest Dream
(with apologies to the late great American folk singer/songwriter, Pete Seeger*)

Last night I had the strangest dream
I never dreamed before
I dreamed we beat the Blues 4-0
And Soldado scored all four!
I dreamed that I was in a room
And the room was full of men
And the paper they were writing said
He'd score and score again!
And when the paper was all signed
And a million copies made
Spurs fans joined hands and bowed their heads
And grateful prayers were prayed!
And the people in the streets below
Began to dance around
And City suits and Chelsea shirts
Were scattered on the ground……..
Last night I had the strangest dream
I never dreamed before
I dreamed we beat the Blues 4-0
[Without Adebayor!]
Prediction: Chelsea 0 Spurs 4
Scorers: Soldado, Soldado, Soldado, Soldado
I'm trusting the pundits. They were all saying: he just needs one goal to get him going, and the floodgates will open…….. we shall see!
[Now do you see what I mean, OODB? We shan't be on the same points after this one!]
Cheers, Spurf!
* Pete Seeger wrote such songs as Where have All The Flowers Gone; We Shall Overcome; Guantanamera; Little Boxes; If I Had a Hammer; Wimoweh; Kisses Sweeter Than Wine; Turn, Turn, Turn………………. he sang at Obama’s inauguration; and he died earlier this year.
I know this song from the Simon and Garfunkel version (assumed it was a Paul Simon composition). Great song and love the alternative lyrics.

Sorry to be a smartarse, but if it's a draw and Bobby doesn't score (unlikely) you'll still be level with OODB
