I predict if Spurs don't beat Stoke and go on a winning run in the PL,there's going to be a lot of empty seats.....and Daniel will be wondering why!

What would happen at our work place if we weren't doing our jobs? We'd be blooming fired......and replaced smartish.

Daniel!

That will only be the plastics though mate, those that go to a game expecting to win 4-0 all the time. I'd rather fans like that leave anyway as they're the ones who usually generate the negative atmosphere and with their seats available, I'm sure many will be willing to jump in.

To be fair though, in the 9 years I've been going now, I've not seen WHL lacking in numbers for League matches, even when we went on that dismal start under Ramos (you know, the 2 points from 9 games <laugh>) or average/ poor runs under Jol/ Harry/ AVB we still pretty much sold out.

Yes,you're probably correct there. But I remember the days of 50,60,000 and when that sometimes reduced by half,it looked bad.
What happened to that other 20,000?I guess, watching on telly when they'd prefer to be in the ground (maybe?).

For this week’s ditty, I’ve gone back to my teenage years –
oh those heady days of rebellious, rowdy rhythms,
of raucous, risky, rabble-rousing rock anthems……….
no they don’t write them like this any more!

Chorus:
He came to White Hart Lane from sunny Argentina -
Po-Po-Pochettino, Po-Po-Pochettino!
He’s leading Tott’n’am in the Premier League arena -
Po-Po-Pochettino from sunny Santa Fe!
:bandit:

Oh, listen to the singing I hear -
But Pochettino’s name isn’t there -
Until he makes things happen, I fear,
For our suffering fans.

A manager who wanders along -
With Levy there, he might not stay long,
As though the job could never belong
To him.

Mauricio plays a system that’s confusing -
And we don’t get the strategy he’s using!
:emoticon-0181-fubar :emoticon-0145-shake

Chorus
:bandit:

On Sunday we are gonna beat Stoke
We’re gonna win – that isn’t a joke -
Because I hear him say "okeydoke –
I'm picking Kane" *

Despite our sometimes dodgy back four
We’ll get two goals - or possibly more -
With Mason and young Harry to score*
(Again!)

We know his name, but we’re reluctant singers
Until he gets this team to play with wingers! :emoticon-0121-angry

Chorus
:bandit:

Prediction: Spurs 2 Stoke 0
Scorers: Mason, Kane*

Cheers, Spurf! <cheers>

* Does the EL line-up and bench mean he still won't get a start in the PL?

Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 Stoke City. Kane and Townsend for us, Crouch for them.
