Top scorer with 12 points Bald Archie, nobody else scored more than 7, so well done to him. That's the second week running that Bald Archie has been top scorer as he makes a late surge. We have a new leader, a fairly unknown poster PleaseNotPoll now tops the league by just 1 point. As AVB says this will go to the wire!

8 failed to predict, don't give up now your pride is at stake.

Next, City at the lane, it's time we beat them up!

For some odd reason, I've only participated with predictions on here 4 times , but my points tally amount to 24.

Not wishing to blow my own whatsit, but by any calculation.,
if you take the number of points scored (to date) =24 and divide them by the number of predictions =4., what is left is my average per game score, and that is =6 points/game.
If you then multiply the average per game score by say the 30 games already played this season (6x30)., that gives a overall total of 180 points.

4 games played= 24 points therefor 30 played=180 points :1980_boogie_down:

By this calculation I'm series leader and should be top of the First division. Is that right Spurf or have I overdone the rum again ?.

In the meantime well played Archie and PNP so far., but be warned, I will be making a serious Challenge for these honors next season. :)

Spurs 2 City0 Siggy,Ade.Sure Ade will want to score against his old team, and it would be a good time to record a clean sheet

I seem to remember littleDinosaurLuke saying something similar last year. <laugh>

The blue side of Manchester 4 - The spiralling downwards Spurs 0

god, even I'm depressed by Tottenham these days - can't find a hanging yourself smiley to indicate it though...

are you sure you support Spurs?

Yes of course

why would you think not???

Spent my 40th birthday on one of the private stadium tours

go to as many games as finances and logistics will allow

spend a percentage of my monthly pay packet at the Spurs shop online

hell, even got shares!

I believe OODB is a genuine fan, just probably had his heartbroken one too many times by Spurs so now doesn't expect anything good to ease the pain.

It's just that your prediction's are so pessimistic,i've been a fan a long time,so if anyone should be like that i'm one of them, but i don't think we are that bad

what he said :-(

I am stunningly pessimistic, I never believe we'll actually win a game until its over. I've only been a real fan since the early eighties (before that I was only ickle!) so a fair to middling time rather than a long time, and the highs have been less than less than infrequent the lows almost a daily drudge. We've had good, sometimes even great, and yes I'll say it some World Class players but they've never seemed to be in the same team at the same time.

Its like that old saying 'one swallow does not a summer make, just a good nights dogging'

Spurs 2 - 3 City

Sig, Bale

City looked good against Utd and will want to keep up any slim hopes of winning the title whilst at least securing 2nd.

We'll play better with our injured lot back but we haven't beaten City for a while now and I can't see this match reversing the trend.
